Cheltenham Suites - The Escarpment Suite

Quaint accommodation in quiet area Positive: Spacious suite and lovely garden to sit by the river. Host arranged an extra clean which was really generous as we came back and the room was spotless. Negative: None of these things are the property’s fault but in hindsight I should have booked somewhere with more going on nearby as it’s in a really remote area and more suited to hikers so we had to drive to get anywhere. There’s no lift so it was tough lugging up our suitcases as we had a lot of things for our baby and because of the location by the water, we ended up getting a lot of bug bites too so just make sure to pack some insect repellent!

Authenticité et super conseillé pour ceux qui cherche une vrai expérience nord-américain. Positive: C'est un endroit dans la campagne donc il faut accepter la présence de quelque petite bêtes mais c'est une expérience parfaite au niveau du charme et, pourquoi pas, aussi les services offerts avec un prix très très compétitifs si comparé aux standard nord-américain. Bref, je le conseille vivement aux Européens qui cherche une vrai expérience, authentique. Negative: Il est prêt de la rue donc vous pouvez entendre des voitures passées, l'air climatisée est bruyante et les fenêtres son pleines d'araignées. Mais bon, c'est dans la campagne et c'est authentique!

Perfect for a short stopover in a quaint small town Positive: The property was beautiful and picturesque located on a river with beautiful grounds in a charming building. Negative: It could have been a bit cleaner. Would have liked to use the ceiling fan instead of the A/C but it was filled with a layer of dust. We also found some dirty underwear in the bedside drawer, likely from a previous guest.

Cozy place but not very well managed. Positive: Nice cozy room. Very little space to put our clothing, hardly any hanging space. Negative: Nobody to reach out to. Nobody cleaned the room during our stay.
